Indeed is was a 24 hours stretch for us.
The flight was good and comfortable with no delays. And then one thinks one has arrived, in New York that is…

We had to change something on the ticket, it took a while but was necessary. After that we had to take the train form Newark to Manhattan. Eventually, after considerable effort, we reach our hostel. At this point we haven’t got any experience with hostels so image my surprise when I felt the spring shooting against my but when I sat down on the bed.
But.., that didn’t diminish our spirits and we walked down Broadway towards the financial sector. We past Chinatown and Soho, saw a very impressive Ground Zero, Wall Street and the Statue of Liberty. One can imagine that we slept like babies that night.
Well.., that’s it for now. We’re taking it easy the rest of the day and visit this awesome city some more.

What is there to say? We’re ready.., everything is taken care of en we’re getting really anxious
Droppie is OK, as was to be expected. As usual our worries were unfounded. We’ll visit him this Saturday.

So.., it’s very likely that our next update comes from New York. After today we won’t have a lot to say.., now it’s just waiting to leave…
